Responsibilities
At each Department that serves as a reference for one or more Degree Programmes, a Faculty-student Joint Committee is established.
The Committee is responsible for monitoring, through appropriate evaluation indicators, the educational offering, the quality of teaching, and student support services. It issues opinions on the establishment, activation, modification, and discontinuation of academic programmes. It may submit proposals to the Department Council on matters relating to teaching and on the allocation of financial resources.
The Committee prepares an annual report and carries out other duties provided for in the relevant University regulations.
Composition
The composition of the Joint Committee is defined by the Department Regulations, ensuring a balanced representation of professors, researchers, and students.
The Committee is chaired by the Head of the Department or by a delegate appointed by the Head of the Department.
