No Smoking Policy
At the University of Bologna, smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of the University.
The ban also applies to the use of electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) and heated tobacco products.
For university facilities located within hospital areas, the regulations issued by the respective healthcare authorities apply.

These officers hold management roles with defined responsibilities as outlined in the University’s Regulations on Health and Safety in the Workplace.
They operate as staff members reporting directly to the Department Director and coordinate with the University of Bologna’s Prevention and Protection System.
They are supported by technical personnel, forming a network of diverse expertise aimed at ensuring the highest standards of safety and prevention within the Department.
